New Delhi: Around 1.4 lakh Fastag users have bought the annual toll pass and on the first day a similar number of transactions were recorded at the toll plaza on NHS and National Expressway, NHAI said on Friday. The toll pass scheme was rolled out from midnight on Thursday.In a statement, the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) said that about 1,150 toll plaza passes are processed on NHS and NES “Around 20,000-25,000 concurrent users are using the Rajmargetra app at any time and the annual pass users are receiving SMS messages for zero deduction of toll fee,” This is said.The Highways Authority said that officers have been posted in each toll plaza to ensure a smooth travel experience for pass users. “NHAI is addressing the questions of pass users through various channels. To address the complaints of pass users, the 1033 NH helpline number has been further strengthened in addition to more than 100 officers,” said this.Annual passes one year validity or 200 toll plaza crossings through a one -time fee payment of Rs 3,000, often eliminates the need to recharge Fastag. Applies to all non-commercial vehicles with a valid fastag and becomes active within two hours of the fee payment through the Rajmargetra app or NHAI website.
