New Delhi: The Election Commission on Thursday told the Lok Sabha leader of the opposition Rahul Gandhi and other India block parties about repeated use of the word “vote chori”, saying that such “dirty phrases” were aimed at creating a false story. The pole body attacked it the integrity of crores of Indian voters and millions of election workers. The ECI stressed that the “one person, one vote” law has been applicable since India’s first elections in 1951-52. Pol body said that with the evidence of a person voting twice, anyone should present it to the Commission with an affidavit instead of branding all voters as a “thief” without evidence. On August 7, Rahul Gandhi fled through a presentation at a press conference in New Delhi, where he accused a large -scale “vote theft” (vote theft) in the Mahadewapura assembly section in Karnataka, claiming that more than 1 lakh votes were “stolen” through methods such as duplicate entries, fake addresses and bulk registrations. Gandhi said, “Our internal polling predicted 16 Lok Sabha seats for the Congress in Karnataka; We won nine wins. In Mahadevpura alone, we stole 100,250 votes in five different ways,” Gandhi said what he said to an internal analysis of Congress’s voting pattern.Later, the Election Commission asked Rahul Gandhi to submit a formal announcement, supporting his “vote chori” (vote theft) claim, as well as to initiate necessary action, with the names of allegedly incorrect voters in the voter list.Reacting to the Election Commission, Rahul said: “I am publicly asking everyone. Take it as an oath. This is their data, and we are displaying their data. It is not our data”. “Interestingly, he has not denied information,” he further said. “I am a politician. What I say to people is my word. I am saying it to everyone publicly. Take it as an oath. Why don’t you say that they are wrong? Because you know the truth. You know that we know that you have done this across the country, “Congress leader told news agency ANI.
