New Delhi: The Congress party on Saturday renewed its attack on the Modi government on the claims of US President Donald Trump repeatedly that they made “peace” between India and Pakistan – a claim that the Congress says that they have created for “36th time” – after India’s anti -terrorism attack under Operation Sindhor. With its official X handle, the Congress shared a video of Trump, praising himself in the White House and wrote, “This time … 36th time.” The Post quoted Trump as saying: “I stopped the war between India and Pakistan through trade. In this conflict, 5 to 6 fighter jets were shot.”The Grand Old Party then questioned, “Why Narendra Modi compromised the country’s honor?”During his comment, Trump recalled the increased military tensions between India and Pakistan: “They were shooting for the airplane.” He said: “As President, my highest aspiration is to bring peace and stability to the world. Today’s signature follows our success with India and Pakistan.”Trump proceeded: “They were going on it, they were going on it and they were two great leaders who came together before a tremendous struggle, as you know, an atomic conflict, perhaps.”Saying that he solved conflicts through trade, Trump said: “I settled things with India, Pakistan. I think it was more business for any other reason. Similarly I joined it.” He said: “I said, ‘You know, I do not want to work with those countries who are trying to fly themselves and the world.” They are nuclear nations. ,Trump mentioned the India-Pakistan struggle twice during the incident, bringing his claims to get such claims almost 36 times.Prime Minister Narendra Modi, however, pushed back at the fabric of the opposition and said: “No world leader asked for the suspension of Operation Sindoor.” His comment came in response to the call from the Congress that if the US President’s claim was false, he should face Trump.
