’42 countries visited, not Manipur’: Mallikrajun Kharge excavates PM Modi; Warning against changing constitution | Bharat News

New Delhi: Congress President Mallikrajun Kharge on Saturday made a strong attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP while addressing a public event in Mysuru, Karnataka. Criticizing the Prime Minister for not visiting a struggle-hit Manipur, Kharge said, “PM Modi has visited 42 countries, but not Manipur.” The northeastern state has been watching ethnic disturbance for more than a year, the opposition repeatedly questioned the Center to deal with the crisis. Kharge also said that the people of India will not allow BJP and RSS to convert into the constitution. “The people of the country will not allow BJP, RSS to change the constitution,” he said. Drawing a contrast between the two national parties, Kharge commented, “People perform at the Congress party, while Modi’s BJP only speaks.” Claiming that the Karnataka government is fighting financially, Kharge defended the situation of the Congress -ruled state. He said, “The Karnataka government has not allegedly insolvency,” he said, competing against the allegations made by BJP leaders against Siddaramaiah -led administration.
