90 students of Kashmir Valley were expelled from Iran among Indians: Jammu and Kashmir Students Association | Bharat News

Srinagar: Ninety students belonging to the Kashmir Valley are set to reach New Delhi on Wednesday night after being expelled from Iran for Armenia amidst increasing enmity between Israel and Iran.The union government provided withdrawal of more than 100 Indian students. Visual showed the students to the students riding an Indigo flight to India.The Jammu and Kashmir Students Association (JKSA), which is in touch with students in Iran, issued a statement in which “Kashmiri students and their families were given immense relief and are ready to come to New Delhi tonight as 90 students from Kashmir Valley, which is amidst the facility of evacuation operation by Govat of India.”“The Government of India, especially Prime Minister Narendra Modi and External Affairs Minister Dr. S Jaishankar, to start this time and assure worrying families during this period of uncertainty, we hope that all the remaining students will be evacuated soon.”JKSA national convenor Nasir Khumhemi said that 600 students, most of them had reached Kum, a Shia holy city in Kashmiris, North Central Iran.He also said that two Kashmiri students were injured after the Israeli air strike on Hujat Dost Ali Hostel in Tehran. “Both students were injured with shrapnel, one was hurt in hand, while the other faced injuries in both their hands and legs.He said.
