New Delhi: Is US President Donald Trump, in his second term, align himself with Russian President Vladimir Putin – or is he simply echoing a world vision that overlaps easily with Kremlin? A recent analysis by Bloomberg suggested the East, whether Trump’s rhetoric and policies were entering Russia dangerously.
The title “Trump tells Americans what Putin wants to hear them”, the Bloomberg investigation offers a data-manual evaluation of Trump’s public statements and how the online post shows the story of Kremlin. Between August 2024 and mid-March 2025, Trump using a large language model to examine more than 300 public comments, as well as more than 3,000 social media posts from the Trump administration, notable similarities in the tone and message.
The findings suggest that Trump’s comment – especially about NATO, Sovereignty of Ukraine, and the validity of President Volodimier Zelansky – often align with the positions conducted by Moscow. This includes a recurring story on the Criticism of the occupation of the Ukrainian region and the NATO ambitions of the Kiev, both long -talking points.
However, world political expert Professor Pushpesh Pant disagreed with this analysis and said that Trump’s foreign policy could not be reduced to alignment only with Putin.
“Donald Trump is irrational and unexpected. Any attempt to explain his foreign policy through tweets or Western media analysis is eventually meaningless,” Professor Pants said in a discussion with Times of India.
“No matter what he wanted to combine with Putin, he would take the stance only until he needs to retaliate China.”
Referring to the misunderstanding of the previous President, Pant said, “As George W. Bush once said about his first meeting with Putin,” I looked into his eyes and I saw his soul. I trusted him. ” This quotation has become a symbol of how easily some leaders have made Putin wrong, and Trump is not different from that list.
This rhetoric is also clear in Trump’s his comments. At a February 1 rally, he interacted with a foreign leader: “One of the presidents of a big country stood up and said,” Okay, sir, if we do not pay and we attack by Russia, will you protect us? ” I said, ‘You didn’t pay, you are a criminal?’
Bloomberg also noted that social media content from the Trump administration officials prioritize subjects such as immigration, internal discord, and trade with low mentions of Russian aggression or support for Ukraine. The report concludes: “Linguistic evidence points to a fundamental regeneration of the US foreign policy discourse led by Trump – one that is rapid overlap with a rapid overlap with describing the global affairs of Russian authorities.”
Parallel reporting from CNN paint uniformly uncomfortable. The network revealed that American intelligence agencies have warned MPs about Trump’s re -election and now on the ongoing Russian intervention attempts for his presidential post. “This is not a comfortable situation,” a Republican MP told CNN. “But this is a situation that is becoming difficult to ignore.”
However, Pro Pants provided another perspective: “Trump’s alleged inclination towards Putin by global media also stems from the allegations that Russia, led by Putin, revolves around cyber attacks during Hillary Clinton’s campaign, probably affects his necklace.”
On the issue of Trump’s rocky coordination with President Zelancesi, Pro Pants warned against the sweeping conclusion. “Regarding the Ukraine mineral deal with Zelancesi, it would be wrong to assume that Trump will have an upper hand. The deal contains clauses that suggest that unless Trump resolves the pre -financial commitments, there will be no new understanding with Zelansky.
He said: “An important detail that is worth noting is that the final Ukraine-US mineral agreement, compared to the earlier draft, is less slant and not far-reaching. It now allows future American military assistance to be considered Ukraine as investment, rather than demanding reunion for previous assistance.”

According to the pants, the large geopolitical picture cannot be separated from its historical point of view of Putin. “Putin sees himself deeply connected to Europe – especially from the conservative Christian population – and does not recognize Central Asian countries such as Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, or Tajikistan as strategically important.
“If Putin is successful in absorbing Ukraine, neighboring countries such as Poland and Hungary will cause deeply concerned. As a member of a NATO, Poland can find himself directly under pressure, triggering a wave effect that will disturb everyone in Eastern Europe,” he warned.
As Trump is ready to consolidate in front of power in his second term in a rift with China, whether his foreign policy is strategically calculated or is likely to be ideologically susceptible to Putin’s world art.
However, it is clear that the lines between political practicality and geopolitical alignment have never blurred.
