‘Give me a break’: Trump brushing Catholic backlash on AI Pope image

Donald Trump has dismissed criticism on an AI-rented image, reflecting him as the Pope, stating that Bailsh is being fuel by “fake news media” instead of Catholics.
The US President shared the image on his true social stage, where it was later rebuilt by the official White House X account. The image showed Trump in a full pope’s dress, including a white cassoch and bishop matter, and was posted during the official nine -day mourning period for Pope Francis, who died on 21 April. The conclusion of choosing his successor is going to begin on Wednesday.
When asked by a reporter about the Catholic backlash, Trump said: “Oh, I see. You mean, they can’t take a joke? You do not mean Catholics, you mean fake news media. Catholic loved it. ,
He went to brushing the concerns about the time of the image, joking on one side: “Maybe it was AI … My wife thought it was cute. In fact, I will not be able to marry \ _[if I were the Pope]You are fake news media – they are fake. ,
When it is pressurized whether to share such material from the official White House account, its credibility decreases, Trump said: “Give me a break. Someone did it in fun.”
Chitra expressed displeasure between Catholic groups and Italian commentators. The New York State Catholic Conference said, “There is nothing clever or funny about this image, Mr. President … doesn’t joking us.” La Republika of Italy accused Trump of “pathological megalaomania”, while former Prime Minister Mateo Renji called the post “shameful”.
Despite the anger, Trump’s colleagues held a rally to defend themselves. Distance commentator Jack Posobiec, an exercise Catholic, dismissed the uproar as a lack of humor, writing: “We are all making jokes all the week about the upcoming Pope selection.”
Trump himself joked about becoming the Pope a few days ago: “I would like to become a pope. This would be my number one option.” His colleagues including Senator Lindsay Graham also played together, suggested Trump as a “Dark Horse candidate”.
