India logged in 19.7L additional deaths in 2021, 6X official covid toll: Government Data | Bharat News

India recorded about 25.8 lakh more deaths in 2021 in the year 2021, compared to 2019, according to official data based on the Civil Registration System (CRS) released on Wednesday, which is the last east-coord year. After accounting for natural increase in population over a period of two years, the spike in deaths in 2021 is about 20 million, about six times the official covid Death Tally in that year. The highest undercounting of deaths was in Gujarat, with about 2 lakh more incompatibility, the state’s official count in 2021 was more than 33 times the deaths of more than 5,800 deaths, showing the figures. Even in Bihar, Rajasthan, Jharkhand and Andhra Pradesh, more deaths were 10 times more than the official covid toll. The lowest discrepancy among the official Kovid toll and additional deaths calculated for that year was in Kerala, Uttarakhand, Assam, Maharashtra and Delhi, showing data. Based on the Civil Registration System (CRS) released on Wednesday, India’s Vital Statistics report shows that India recorded about 25.8 lakh more deaths in the Kovid year of 2021 compared to 2019, which is the last east-Kovid year. All additional deaths are not responsible for Kovid, but even for natural increase in population over a period of two years, the spike is about 20 lakhs, about six times the official Covid Death Tally of 3.3 lakhs in that year.Gujarat saw the most undercounting of deaths with nearly 2 lakh additional deaths, more than 33 times the official count of more than 5,800 Kovid deaths in 2021. Even in Bihar, Rajasthan, Jharkhand and Andhra Pradesh, additional deaths were ten times more than the official covid toll. How do we get these numbers? Even the number of deaths in the form of population will increase with the death rate being unchanged. Therefore, we implemented the death rate of 2019, as detected in the Sample Registration System (SRS), to reach the 2021 population estimated by the Census Office to reach the number of deaths in 2021 in the general course. In fact, the mortality rate was continuously falling till 2019, so the estimates actually decrease to some extent what the number would have been. We then compared this estimate to the actual number for 2021 reported by CRS. The difference is ‘additional deaths’.In Madya Pradesh, the government’s Kovid Death Tally was about 6,900 deaths for 2021. However, the total deaths registered in 2021 exceeded the estimated number using the 2019 mortality rate. West Bengal reported over 10,000 Kovid deaths in 2021, while additional deaths were more than 1.5 lakhs. In large states, Kerala, Uttarakhand, Assam, Maharashtra and Delhi calculated the Kovid Death Tally given by the concerned governments for 2021 and more deaths for that year. Of these, additional deaths differ from 1.5 to 3.1 times the official covid toll.Another report on medical certification of the cause of death in 2021 was also released on Wednesday, showing that Kovid was the second major cause of death, accounting for 17.3% of deaths, which was behind diseases of the confluence system, which was 29.8% of the total medically certified certified deaths. This meant that despite the medically certified deaths for less than a quarter (23.4%) of total registered deaths, the number of certified Kovid deaths in the report was 4.1 lakh, which was more than 3.3 lakh Kovid deaths from India’s official tally.
