New Delhi: On Friday morning, a loud explosion was heard in the city of Jammu in India, India triggered a full blackout just hours after failing Pakistan’s effort to target military installations in the border areas. The presence of littering monsoon in the sky was reported.The explosion occurred between 3.50 pm and 4.45 pm, the sound was made shortly after the siren. Officials said the security forces immediately neutralized the danger. Online -operated video showed flying objects and explosions in the sky as the dangers were stopped.Sources told ANI that the Indian Army shot over 50 Pakistani drones in a massive counter-drain operation with the Line of Control (LoC) and the International Border (IB) on Wednesday night. The operation was started in response to Pakistan’s unsuccessful efforts to infiltrate several herd drones in Indian territory at various places. Army air defense units worked fast, targeted and neutralized drones in major areas including Udampur, Samba, Jammu, Akhanur, Nagrota and Pathankot. “Last night, as Pakistan failed to send a flock of drones to several places with LoC and IB, Indian Army Air Defense Units carried out a large-scale counter-drain operation and neutralized more than 50 drones in areas of Udampur, Samba, Jammu, Akhnoor, Nagurota, and Patkot.”A violation of an overnight ceasefire was reported, in which Pakistani troops attached to shelling and firing in Poonch, Rajouri and Jammu districts. Indian forces responded in mercy.In a post on X, the Deputy Commissioner of Jammu urged the residents to remain calm.In stress increases, all educational institutions – including schools, colleges and universities – have been ordered to be closed in the region.A local resident said, “There was a complete blackout last night. After which, drones started flying and firing continued throughout the night. Our army is giving an answer to Pakistan. We have confidence in our Prime Minister and our army. All drones were ineffective by our armies. We are proud of our country. The border is stressed but the rest are safe in other places.”Another local said, “As soon as we started meal last night, we heard the sound of some explosions. The blasts were heard again at around 4:30, but they were also neutralized by our forces. There is nothing to worry about. Our army is on alert. Lord Vaishno Devi is sitting in Jammu, there is nothing to fear. Attacking citizens is nothing but cowardly because they (Pakistan) do not dare to fight our army.They can do all this. Our army is giving an answer and we are proud of them. ,A third local said, “Around 8 o’clock last night, we saw 3-4 drones. There was an anti-perpetual firing that continued throughout the night. What Pakistan did is not right. We are not afraid. Schools are closed here.”Another resident of Jammu remarked, “The sound of shelling and firing could be heard. Smoke was seen in the sky. There is a complete blackout. Our army has full faith.”According to defense sources, Pakistan launched eight missiles targeting Satvari, Samba, RS Pura and Arnia regions, all of which were intercepted by Indian air defense systems.PunjabWide blackouts were implemented on Thursday night in several districts of Punjab, Chandigarh, and parts of Haryana including Panchkula, Ambala and Sirsa increased military tensions after the threat of operation vermilion of India and the threat of airstrikes.The residents were instructed to close the lights and stay indoors as the siren exploded and the police repeatedly issued public announcements. Three to four blasts were heard in fast succession, which immediately got black out. Bathinda SSP Amnat Kondal confirmed an explosion near the National Fertilizers Limited (NFL) plant and said the armed forces were investigating.

Meanwhile, drone attacks in Hoshiarpur and Jalandhar were neutralized. A potential attack near Uchi Bassi village was close to Mukarian, and a projection was recovered from nearby fields. The Deputy Commissioner of Hoshiarpur issued a blackout order after the incident.Later that night, another drone attempt in Jalandhar’s Maksudan/Suranasi region was thwarted. Jalandhar DC Himanshu Aggarwal assured the public that most drones were neutralized and no citizen was targeted.Earlier on Thursday morning, the explosion and the fire of fire in the sky caused panic in Amritsar.
