He told how people used to meet each other in a person, but now they only send messages. He said, “Earlier, when someone’s daughter got married, we personally used to take a box of invitation cards and sweets. But today, people have started sending e-cards and stopped making calls. So, you can just blame it.”Price of personal communicationShetty explained that people have evolved to rely on sending messages, but they believe that a simple phone call-asks a loved one as to how they are very deep meanings through tone and voice, something that is lacking in text messages. He mentioned that he rarely responds to email because he feels very formal, but when someone calls him, he always sures to answer. He also shared that if he does not get an invitation to a phone call for marriage, especially if it is just an email or e-card, he chooses to not be present, because he directly believes someone’s personal touch and is saying, “Where are you?
