New Delhi: On Saturday, the Center has selected seven MPs at parties to lead seven all-party delegations for major fellow nations, which comes in view of Operation Sindoor, which was launched on May 7 after the Pahalgam attack on 22 April. Opposition leaders Shashi Tharoor and Kanimozhi Ravi Shankar Prasad and Sanjay Jha will cooperate with the ruling coalition members, leading to seven all-party delegations to prominent fellow nations. Their mission is to communicate India’s stance Zero tolerance against terrorism After Operation Sindoor. The additional MPs selected include Supriya Sule of NCP-SP, BJP’s bier ‘J’ Panda and Shiv Sena’s Srikanth Shinde.The Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs said on Saturday, “The all-party delegation will project India’s national consent and firm attitude to combat terrorism in all forms and expressions.”“They will carry forward the strong message of zero tolerance against terrorism to the world.”The selection of the delegation leaders reflects representation in the political spectrum, including clear voices from various parties.Selected leaders, including four from the National Democratic Alliance and three from India Block, are experienced MPs with comprehensive public service.Which delegation team is going?

  • According to PTI input, Ravi Shankar Prasad’s delegation will visit Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain and Algeria.
  • The delegation led by Supriya Sule is expected to visit Oman, Kenya, South Africa and Egypt.
  • Sanjay Jha’s delegation is expected to visit Japan, Singapore, South Korea, Malaysia and Indonesia, in which Indonesia is the largest Muslim nation in the world.

Each delegation, including six to seven MPs, is scheduled to visit about four to five countries.The delegation will include MPs from various parties, such as Anurag Thakur, Aparajita Sarangi, Manish Tiwari, Asaduddin Owasi, Amar Singh, Rajiv Pratap Rudy, Samik Bhattacharya, Bridge Lal, Sarfaraz Ahmed, Priyka Chaturvedi, Vikiti, Sasiti.Former Union Minister Salman Khurshid, though not an MP, will join Jha’s delegation. Meanwhile, Trinmool Congress MP Sudeep Bandyopadhyay rejected participation citing health concerns.
