‘Wrong Bayani of facts’: Mea makes it clear that Jayshankar’s ‘Warning Pakistan’ Comment | Bharat News

New Delhi: The Foreign Ministry rejected the Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, claiming allegations against Rahul Gandhi’s external affairs minister Jaishankar, claimed that he informed Pakistan before Operation Sindoor. Calling it “wrong bayani of facts”, Mea clarified that the government had warned Pakistan in the initial phase after the onset of Operation Sindoor and not before. The MEA External Publicity Division said that Jaishankar had said that “we had initially warned Pakistan which is clearly an early stage after the commencement of OP Sindoor”.The ministry said, “It is being represented incorrectly before it starts. This wrong buzz of facts is being called out.”Congress leader Rahul Gandhi strongly condemned Jaishankar’s statement, “It was a crime to inform Pakistan at the beginning of our attack. Eam has publicly acknowledged that Goi had done so. It was authorized by the author who authorized it? Our Air Force lost how many planes as a result?”Earlier, the Kerala unit of the Congress also posted a video of Jaishankar, seeking answers from the central government on its statement. The Fact Czech unit of the Press Information Bureau, however, dismissed the claims and said Jaishankar was “wrong”. He said, “Social media post means that Foreign Minister @drsjaishankar’s statement said that India had informed Pakistan before the onset of Operation Sindoor. Eam is being misunderstood and he has not given this statement.”Operation vermilion was India’s military reaction to target terrorist camps in Pakistan and Pakistan -occupied Kashmir (POK) in Pakistan (POK).
