Operation Sindoor: Rahul Gandhi questions Jaishankar’s ‘Silence’, asks how many aircraft we lost because Pakistan knew? , Bharat News

New Delhi: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi again interrogated Operation Sindoor on Monday, who was asked how many Indian aircraft were lost during the operation. “Eam Jaishankar’s silence is not just telling – it is harmful. So I will ask again: Pakistan knew how many Indian aircraft we had lost?” Gandhi posted on X, while resumed the post of himself. He said, “It was not a lapse. It was a crime. And the nation deserves truth.” Gandhi shared an uncontrolled video of Jaishankar on 17 May, first, where the minister is heard saying that India warned Pakistan before starting an attack on the terrorist infrastructure. In that post, Gandhi wrote, “It was a crime to inform Pakistan at the beginning of our attack. Eam has publicly acknowledged that Goi has done so.” He also asked, “Who authorized it? This resulted in how many aircraft our Air Force lost?” Meanwhile, the Ministry of External Affairs (Mea) responded to Gandhi’s claim, called it “wrong bayani of facts”. The MEA said that the government had warned Pakistan at the initial phase after the onset of Operation Sindoor and not before it started. This clarified that Jaishankar had said, “We had initially warned Pakistan, which is clearly the initial stage after the onset of OP Sindoor.” The ministry said, “This is being represented incorrectly as before it starts. This completely wrong bayani of facts is being called out.”Operation Sindoor was launched on 7 May, which targets terrorist bases in Pakistan in retaliation for the deadly Pahalgam terror attack on 22 April.
