New Delhi: Jaan Suraj Party Founder Prashant Kishore named former Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP on Monday Uday Singh As the first national president of the party.This step comes when the party is preparing for its first full-fledged electoral start in Bihar elections scheduled later this year.Launched on 2 October last year, Jan Suraj Party was working without a full President. Although Kishore made it clear that he would not hold any official post, former IPS officer Manoj Bharti was appointed as the ‘Working President’ soon after the establishment of the party. ,Kishore said during a state-level workshop in July last year, “Is the leader of the pulses Prashant Kishore Nahin (Prashant Kishore is not the leader of this party).
