Hyderabad: Jewel Prahlad could have at least two members of Modi’s family, he did not step back to his house to save the loved ones trapped inside his burning house at Gulzar House in Hyderabad on Sunday morning. He was one of the 17 victims in the explosion, who converted a weekend family into a tragedy.Cousins Pankaj (37) and Abhishek (31) were among the first people, who responded to the fire starting on the ground floor of the three -storey building built a century ago.Mukesh Kumar, an employee, said, “He had gone out of the house, which was probably to check the fire range arising in the main electrical panel.” “As he stepped back to alert others, an AC’s compressor unit exploded. Within minutes, the entire house was in flames.”Realizing that many family members were trapped inside the house along with their wife and three children, Pankaj returned to the building to save them. Abhishek chased. Hours later, when the rescue team left the inflammatory building for the remaining people, both were found alive but barely hanging. Relatives said the cousin died while being taken to the hospital.Pankaj was Prahlada’s son and Abhishek, who was the son of one of the younger brothers of Patriyark. The body of Pankaj’s 35 -year -old wife Varsha was found with his arms around four child victims. Another employee Muhammad Athar said, “She was probably trying to mold the children.”Prahlada Modi and his wife Munni captured the upper floors along with members of the expanded family. Some of his sons, daughters and grandchildren came for the weekend when there was a tragedy.
