Lucknow: Alert Loco Pilots tried to derail two major trains running from Delhi – Randi Express and Kathgodam Express – Police said on Tuesday by placing wooden logs on the track in Hardoi district of UP. Although there was no official statement by the Indian Railways, both the incidents are being investigated, and efforts are on to identify and arrest criminals.There is no clarity at any terror angle for these subotes dialects.The GRP show, Hardoi, Jayaprash Singh said, “Unknown men had tied the wooden blocks on the railway track between Dellannagar and Umartali stations using the warting wire on Monday evening.”Police said the first attempt was made around 5.45 pm when the New Delhi-Dibrugraha Rajani Express was moving towards Lucknow. A potential disaster was postponed as the Loco Pilot applied an emergency brake after seeing the obstruction. He removed the wooden logs and informed the railway authorities.Another attempt was made soon, around 6.30 pm, to derail the Kathgodam-Leukno Express on the same route. This time, too, the loco pilot stopped the train in time, and removed the blockage before moving towards Lucknow.After two incidents, GRP and RPF teams inspected the track, along with maintenance employees. By 7.30 pm, this section was declared safe for train operations. An FIR has been lodged against unknown persons on a written complaint filed by the railway officials under Section 150 (attempting to ruin the debris or train in a malicious manner) of the Railway Act.
