New Delhi: The Central Investigation Bureau (CBI) on Thursday filed a charge sheet against former Jammu and Kashmir Governor Satya Pal Malik and five others in the Kiru hydroelectric corruption case, PTI quoted the officials. In 2024, the CBI discovered at eight places in Delhi and Jammu and was part of the Rs 2,200 crore civil contracts for the Kiru Hydro Electric Power Project as part of the investigation of alleged corruption. The investigation stems from the request made by the Government of Jammu and Kashmir in 2022, demanding a CBI probe into suspected irregularities in giving two major contracts.
