Announcement of India Test Squad for England Tour Live update: The men’s selection committee will unveil India’s squad for the upcoming five -match Test series against England in Mumbai today. This will be followed by a press conference.

India is set to visit England, which is the beginning of the new cycle in the ICC World Test Championship (2025-2027).

The series is scheduled from June to August 2025, with matches at Headingly (Leeds), Edgbaston (Birmingham), Lords (London), Old Trafford (Manchester), and Oval (London).

This will be India’s first bilateral series as Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli announced their retirement from Test cricket this month.

Rohit Sharma concluded his 11 -year Test career on May 7, played 67 Tests and scored an average of 4,301 runs in 40.57, including 12 centuries and 18 half -centuries.

His retirement leaves a significant leadership difference before his visit to England, which also marks the start of India’s ICC World Test Championship campaign.

Virat Kohli also retired from Test cricket earlier this month after a career of 14 years and 123 tests.

During his brilliant journey, he changed Indian cricket with his aggressive style and fitness. Kohli scored 9,230 runs on an average of 46.85, with 30 centuries and 31 fifties, ranked as India’s fourth largest run-scorer in Tests.
