New Delhi: The BJP on Saturday slammed Jairam Ramesh to call Neeti Ayog “Ayogya” (unfit) body, such a comment will only create controversy and will harm the Congress party.Speaking to news agency PTI, BJP spokesperson Syed Shahnawaz Hussain said, “This is a meeting of Team India to decide for the development of the country. Jeram Ramesh is also making a mistake in this.,He said, “Jeram Ramesh Congress’s Ram Ram Kar Ke Hi Chodeg (Jeram Ramesh will end the Congress),” he said.These comments came by the Congress leader as “Ayogya” (unfit) body and after criticizing the Center, claiming that the meeting was “yet another practice in hypocrisy and diversion.”In a post on X, Ramesh raised 6 questions about the development goals of the Center under the ‘Vikasi Bharat’ mission, with doubts over the purpose of the Neeti Niyam meeting.He questioned the claims of the development of the Center, asking “what kind of ‘Wikati Bharat’ (Developed India) would be: if it will be:
- People in power break social harmony with harmful words and actions.
- Institutions such as Parliament, judiciary, universities, media and constitutional bodies have been reduced to political gains.
- The main values of India are openly attacked.
- Economic inequality increases while money lives with something.
- The rich diversity of the country has deliberately humiliated and erased.
- Not only the freedom of speech is in danger, but after the speech, freedom is also in danger. ,
The Congress leader made his remarks as Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday chaired the meeting of the 10th Governing Council of Neeti Ayog. The meeting focused on the theme ‘Delamented State@2047’ for the meeting.Hussain called Neeti Ayog “Team India Meeting” and criticized the Congress for opposing it.He said, “Neeti is a big institution in the country. It makes policies for the country. In its meeting, eminent people, including Chief Ministers, are sitting together to develop the country.
