Mumtaz revealed that Jeetendra did not want to do ‘Drops Jo Ban Geni Moti’ with him; Shantaram asked him to leave when he requested for a replacement.

Veteran actress Mumbaz, who began her film journey as a background dancer and supportive artist before playing the lead role, shared an anecdote about her early career during an interview recently. He revealed that when he was V. Shantaram’s 1967 film Boond which was cast mainly in unlike Jeetendra in Ban Geni Moti, Jeetendra initially expressed unhappiness about his role. Mumtaz said that Shantaram had to tell Jeetendra firmly that if he was not ready to work with him, he could leave the film.Jeetendra’s objection and Shantram’s firm’s stanceIn a conversation with the Radio Nasha Officer, Mutz reported that Shantaram’s daughter, Rajshree, was initially slated for the film, but was selected due to her wedding plans.
