‘Parliamentophobia’: The Center announced the monsoon parliament session; But what is anger about RS MP Derek O’Brien? , Bharat News

New Delhi: Rajya Sabha MP and TMC leader Derek O’Brien diagnosed Prime Minister Narendra Modi-Sarkar “Special” Status- “Parliamentophyobia”. India’s block parties wrote to PM Modi to demand a special parliamentary session on Operation Sindoor. Instead, the Central Government announced the monsoon session of Parliament from July 21 to August 12. “Parliamentophobia (noun)- My word for the acute position of a (Modi) government, who is a sick fear of facing Parliament. Running away from a special session,” he said in a post on X.In his letter to PM Modi, opposition leaders emphasized that the country is struggling with “serious questions” which warns the parliamentary debate immediately.The letter stated, “The nation has serious questions about the terrorist attacks, the killing of citizens in Poonch, Uri and Rajouri, the declarations of ceasefire and the implication on our national security and foreign policy. We have supported the government’s efforts to join the international community in India’s position,” the letter said.“The government has informed foreign nations and media, but Parliament has not kept the people of India and their elected representatives in the dark. Therefore, we urge you to call you a special session of Parliament immediately on the return of all the party delegation,” Read further.Meanwhile, while responding to these demands on Wednesday, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju said that all issues including Operation Sindoor could be raised and discussed during the upcoming session.
