New Delhi: The murder of Indore-based businessman Raja Raghuvanshi in Meghalaya Hills has sent shockwaves with more information. Now, Uma Raghuvanshi, the mother of the slain businessman, shared more insight, saying that his son was not ready to go on a honeymoon so soon. But he (mother) asked him to go if his wife Sonam had booked the ticket. Uma also said that Sonam planned to travel for her honeymoon, but did not book a return ticket. On 23 May, the couple went missing while on leave in Sohra area in East Khasi Hills district. Later on June 2, Raghuvanshi’s body was found in a gorge and started operations to find Sonam, who went missing after the murder of her husband. On Monday morning, the Northeast State Police said that King Raghuvanshi was allegedly killed by those who were employed by his wife, Sonam during his honeymoon in Meghalaya. He surrendered in front of Nandganj police station in Gazipur, Uttar Pradesh. Meghalaya DGP Eye Nongong told PTI that the king was allegedly killed by three other attackers, arrested in an overnight raid. Of the three arrested, TW MP is from Indore and one from Lalitpur in UP. Eastern Khasi Hills SP Vivek Simi of Meghalaya said that another person has been arrested from Sagar district of MP.
