New Delhi: Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said on Friday that he has issued shoot-at-vision orders to law enforcement officers after a communal group was active in the state’s Dhubri region. He alleged that the communal group intends to harm Hindu temples.The move came after this incident after his visit to Dhubri, where cow’s meat was thrown into the human temple on Eid.During his visit, he ordered the authorities to follow the “zero tolerance” against the elements that encouraged temples, names and holy places. He said that people will not be spared behind the incident. “I visited Dhubri and directed the law enforcement authorities to follow zero tolerance against our temples, names and holy places separate. Sarma wrote in a post on X, “The incident of throwing beef in the Hanuman temple of the city should never have happened, and the people involved will not be spared.In another post, the Chief Minister said that, if needed, he will protect the Hanuman Baba temple overnight. “This time on Eid, some anti -social elements committed a disgusting and condemnable crime by throwing cow meat in the Hanuman temple of Dhubri!Sarma said that an investigation is going on, and the culprits will be brought to justice.
