Mid-Air Escape: Air India London-Delli Flight entered Iran’s airspace as hit with Israel missiles; Came again on Iraq. Bharat News

New Delhi: An Air India flight from London to New Delhi entered the Iranian airspace when Israel launched a wave of missile strikes at Iran’s military and nuclear sites.According to an AFP report, Iraq was taken off before reaching India by an hour late.Call calls were one of several disruptions on Friday as Air India twisted at least 16 international flights back to mid-air due to sudden growing and later closure of Iranian airs. The affected people had services between India and cities like London, Toronto and New York.The aircraft tracking site flight awareness revealed that two other air India flights – Delhi to Vienna and Mumbai to London – were near the Iranian airspace and returned to their original airports shortly after the strike started.In a statement, Air India said: “Due to the emerging situation in Iran, the following Air India flights are either being diverted or returning to their origin due to its closure and safety of our passengers.The airline is offering full refunds or recognition to the affected passengers and arranging for housing where necessary.The Indian Embassy in Iran also issued an advisor to urge Indian citizens and Indian origin to be cautious and avoid non-essential travel, as tension increased after the accurate attacks of Israel, which targeted the Iranian defense infrastructure.Iran, Israel, Iraq, Jordan, and Syria temporarily shut down their airspace, causing wide cancellation and resumed to the Middle East and global flights. Global Airlines suspended flights to Tel Aviv and Tehran as air traffic in the region diluted overnight.Israel said the attack was a direct reaction to Iran’s growing threat from Iran’s missile and nuclear capabilities. Iran retaliated by launching a wave of drone towards the Israeli region.
