New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday on a significant three-nation tour, with the prescribed visits to Cyprus Republic, Canada and Croatia. The purpose of this diplomatic journey is to increase India’s international relations and find a new path for cooperation in various fields.The first stop on PM Modi’s journey program is the Republic of Cyprus, where he will engage in the discussion with President Nicos Christodoulides. The journey comes on the backdrop of long -standing friendship between India and Cyprus, which is noted to increase cooperation in trade, investment, security and technology. The PM said in his departure statement, “The journey provides an opportunity to build on historical bonds and expand our relations in the fields of business, investment, security, technology and promote people’s exchange from people.”Leaders are also expected to discuss ways to promote cultural and people to promote people’s exchange, strengthening the relationship between the two countries. The PM said in his statement, “The summit will provide space for suppressing global issues and the exchange of ideas on the priorities of the global South.”After his visit to Cyprus, PM Modi will visit Canada, Canada to attend the G7 Summit. Invited by Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney, Prime Minister will join global leaders in suppressing international issues, with special emphasis on global South priorities. The Prime Minister said, “Both our countries enjoy centuries -old close cultural ties. As the first visit by an Indian Prime Minister in Croatia, it will open new avenues for bilateral cooperation in areas of mutual interest.”The final stage of the tour will take PM Modi to Croatia, which will mark the first visit in the country by an Indian Prime Minister. Meetings with President Joran Milanovic and Prime Minister Andrez Plankovic are estimated to detect bilateral cooperation opportunities in areas of mutual interest. The purpose of this journey is to build historical cultural relations between India and Croatia, opening new avenues for cooperation. Throughout the tour, PM Modi intended to express his support for the partner countries for his support in India’s cross -border fight against terrorism. The journey tries to promote global understanding of the need to address terrorism in all its forms. The three-nation tour is the first foreign trip for PM Modi since Operation Sindoor, which was launched to target the terrorist infrastructure in Pakistan in early May.
