The Tata Group Friday reiterated his commitment to provide Rs 1 crore as compensation to the families of each person killed in the AI -171 accident – including not only passengers and crew but also doctors and individuals on the ground at the time of the accident. This group will also bear the complete medical expenses of the injured, it said.“As stated earlier, the Tata group would provide Rs 1 crore to each individual’s families, which lost their lives – which includes passengers, crew members and individuals in the campus. All those injured will be covered by ensuring necessary care and support to the medical expenses of all those injured,” said a Tata sons spokesperson.
