Air India Plain Crash: Survivor tried to return to the plane to save brother, first responder says India news

Ahmedabad: On June 12, at 1.40 pm, the cluster fleet manager of Emri 108, Satinder Singh Sandhu, was near the hospital in the Civil Hospital campus, when he heard a loud noise after a huge cloud of smoke. He was set in an ambulance and was one of the first people to reach the accident site. Sandhu said, “The first person we saw was a hostel guard, who had to face primary burning injuries. Even when he was sent to an ambulance as a patient before the site, we saw a person coming out of the building.” The person became the only survivor, Ramesh Vishwaskumar. Sandhu said, “We shouted with him because he saw disorientation and tried to go back to the site, even as a bill of fire and smoke. We later came to know that his brother was in flight, and he was trying to investigate it.
