New Delhi: A Hyderabad official said on Monday that the Hyderabad-bound Lufthansa aircraft, which created a U-turn in a mid-hwa for Germany’s frankfurt, was forced to return to the flight.“The aircraft was still outside the Indian airspace due to the threat of the flight bomb, while the aircraft was still outside the Indian airspace,” the official told the news agency ANI.Earlier, a spokesman for Lufthansa said the flight did not get permission to land at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Hyderabad, and so its source, Frankfurt, Germany’s most busy and returned to Europe’s sixth most busy international airport.The Lufthansa Flight LH752 left the local time (5:44 pm in India) on Sunday at Frankfurt and was scheduled to land in Hyderabad in the early hours of Monday.However, flight tracker data showed a turn in a few hours in the journey.The news agency PTI quoted a passenger as saying, “We returned to Frankfurt about 15 minutes ago and we were told that Hyderabad did not allow it to land there.”“It was a smooth journey and after about two hours in the air, we were told that we are returning to Frankfurt. Now at the airport, they are providing us accommodation for the night. They told us that we will fly on the same flight tomorrow at 10 am (1:30 am), which was traveling from the United States, which was traveling in the southern Indian city.On its website, Loufthansa’s live flight tracker showed that LH752 returned to Frankfurt at around 5:30 pm around local time (9PM IST). According to the website, the aircraft is Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner.The Boeing 787 Dreamliner has come under investigation in India due to the deadly Ahmedabad plane crash of last week, with 242 out of 242 people lost their lives. Overall, 274 people were killed, including the ground, as the aircraft crashed a few minutes after flying to the London Gatwick Airport.
