New Delhi: According to an official update released on Monday, Sonia Gandhi, President of the Congress Parliamentary Party, Sir Ganga Ram is in a stable position while receiving treatment for stomach related disease.The 78 -year -old Congress leader was admitted to the hospital on Sunday evening.Sir Ganga Ram Hospital President Dr. Ajay Swarop issued a statement quoting PTI as saying, “He was admitted to Sir Ganga Ram Hospital yesterday (June 15, 2025, Sunday) at 9 am, which was under the Surgical Gastroenterology Department for the stomach related issue.The former Congress president first visited the same hospital for medical check-up on 9 June.Earlier, two days before the check-up, he conducted medical examinations at Indira Gandhi Medical College (IGMC) at Shimla after complaints of elevated blood pressure. IGMC doctors examined Sonia Gandhi’s health status and stated that she was in a stable position. IGMC Deputy Medical Superintendent Dr. Aman Chauhan said, “His blood pressure was a little more, but nothing is serious. Dr. Chauhan said,” No additional tests were done; Only regular checks were done. He was not given any special medical advice because everything was completely fine. ,
