Director RS Prasanna revealed widespread casting attemptBeyond the dramatic release of June 20, director RS Prasanna shared insight into the casting journey of Sitare land. In an interview with IANS, the filmmaker revealed that the team auditioned over 2,500 persons in about 10 months to find the right fit for the film.
“We did not want professional actor; we were looking for raw, real talent. This made the process more challenging,” Prasanna explained. He said that several auditions were organized online and the team had to conduct a series of preparation workshops to help rest in front of the camera.Sitare Zameen Paar made a comeback for acting after Aamir Khan’s Lal Singh Chafdha after a brief interval.
