Iran-Israel Conflict: US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth confirmed the ‘additional capabilities’ moving towards the Middle East; Fuel -filling aircraft, warship deployed

The United States is sending more military property in the Middle East as the fight between Israel and Iran continues. US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth confirmed the move on Monday, saying the purpose of deployment is to strengthen security for American soldiers in the region.“In the weekend, I directed the deployment of additional capabilities for the United States Central Command Region,” Hegseth said in a post on the social media platform X. “Protecting American forces is our top priority and the purpose of these deployment is to increase our defensive currency in the region.”While Hegseth did not expand what forces or equipment were being sent to US defense sources, the Reuters of the news agency told that reinforcement included a large number of US Air Force fuel -filling aircraft. These aircraft help to expand the range and the time fighter jets can stay in the air. Pentagon is also taking the aircraft carrier USS Nimitz in the Middle East.According to a ship-tracking website Marine Traffic, Nimitz is one of the world’s largest warships and was seen traveling via Malacca Strait towards the Indian Ocean on Monday afternoon. According to the news agency AFP report, a Vietnamese officer confirmed that Nimitz was canceled. A letter from the US Embassy states that the journey was being abolished due to “an emerging operational requirement”.The carrier’s redirection coincides with four of the fast deadly aerial struggle between Iran and Israel. Iranian officials said at least 224 people, including military officers, nuclear experts and citizens, were killed in the Israeli air strike. In response, Iran launched missiles in Israel and warned that “effective, targeted and more destructive operations” could follow. The US Ambassador to Israel Mike Hukabi said on Monday that one of the Iran missiles caused a little damage to the building used by the US Embassy in Tel Aviv.At the same time, online flight-tracking platforms have shown about two dozen US air force tankers aircraft flying east of Atlantic since Sunday. Defense news and analysis website TWZ believes that the aircraft can either prepare to support Israeli aerial operation on Iran or are building a fuel -filling bridge to move more US property in the region.Speaking from the G7 summit in Canada, Donald Trump gave an unclear warning. He said, “As soon as I leave here, we are going to do something. But I have to leave here,” he told reporters. The White House also confirmed that the Maga supremo is ready to leave the G7 Summit a day earlier due to the ongoing Middle East crisis.
