Many Indian students are waiting for strict clearance, haunted in the basement, cut from weak internet, and what the next moment, for the next moment. Meanwhile, more than 100 students have already been taken to neighboring Armenia as Israel-Iran struggle is out of spiral control.For Mehrin Zafar, a medical student at Tehran University of Medical Sciences, every siren is a shock of terror, every blackout is a chilling reminder how delicate security struggle has been built in West Asia. Indian students in Tehran University of Medical Sciences now live under the shadow of war, as the sky on Iran’s capital exploded with alarm and uncertainty.“We are scared. We are calling for help, but nothing is happening,” Mehrin told the news agency PTI, his voice is trembling under the weight of uncertainty.“Iran is on black alert. We don’t know what is happening. We are kept in a basement for safety purposes, but we are scared. Since the Internet is weak, we are unable to contact our family members. We are unable to contact our family members. Back home, they are worried to our safety,” he said.Mehreen, a third year MBBS student, is one of more than 70 Indian students, who is waiting for a warzone to be saved from an hour who has been tightening his grip.For many people, the only hope now rests on the promise of frantic diplomatic efforts and withdrawal flights, as their families stop their breath back.He said, “We are calling for help, but nothing has been found. We do not know anything. We want withdrawal. We have full expectations from Prime Minister Narendra Modi and we need help. We can’t live like this,” he said.Faizan Nabi, a 21 -year -old student at Karman University of Medical Sciences, also said that the situation in his city, though is tense, is not as serious like Tehran.“This situation is not bad like this (Kerman) Tehran. But there is still fear. We are hoping that we will soon move to some safe place, “he said, he said that he has already started packing his bags.Meanwhile, Hajif Malik, a student of Urmia University of Medical Sciences, was among those who were successfully vacated by Indian authorities to Armenia.“We were in Uromia which was relatively safe. We have reached Armenia,” he said.As tension increases, Indian students in Tehran have been taken out of the city, 110 of which have successfully crossed the border in Armenia through the provision of convenience by the Indian Embassy.According to the Jammu and Kashmir Students Association, all the students crossing the Iran-Armenia border are now safely secured in the capital of Jerevan, Armenia. They have been accommodated in hotels at designated places and are scheduled to fly to Delhi on Wednesday. All necessary travel arrangements are being coordinated by Indian officials.The Ministry of External Affairs (Mea) said in a statement that the Indian embassy in Iran is in constant touch with the Indian community to provide all possible assistance.
