India’s first bullet train project between Ahmedabad and Mumbai is on track despite many delays. A Siemens Consortium has now been awarded a contract for signaling and telecom system by National High Speed Rail Corporation Limited on the High-Speed Rail Corridor.Consortium including Dineshchandra R. Aggarwal (DRA) Infrakon Private Limited, Siemens Limited and Siemens Mobility GMBH has received a contract to implement advanced signaling and telecommunications systems for the Mumbai-Ahmedabad bullet train initiative.The European Train Control System (ETC) level will deploy 2-based signaling and train control systems under the Siemens contract.
