New Delhi: The Center recommended that Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Kerala, Manipur, Odisha, Telangana and West Bengal adopt a general board for Class X and XII, which refer to poor educational results and cite fragmented governance due to divided examination system, Report of Manash Gohen.According to analysis of results in 66 education boards organized by the Department of School Education and Literacy, these states had 66% of the student failures in 2024. Split systems have separate boards for conducting Class X and Class XII exams. Last year, 22.17 lakh students failed to class X and 20.16 lakhs, failing class XII.
