Pentagon chief spokesperson Sean Parnell said that it is not true that Hegseth was sidelined. Parnell said in a statement, “The secretary is talking with the President every day and this week has been with the President in the position room.” “Secretary Hegseth is providing leadership to the Defense Department and our armed forces, and he will continue to work diligently in support of President Trump’s peace through Shakti Agenda.”
