Donald Trump gives Iran ‘maximum two weeks’ for decisions; Rules of European arbitration; ‘Europe cannot help them’

US President Donald Trump said on Friday that Iran had a two -week “maximum” to avoid potential American airstrikes, indicating that he could work even before the scheduled time frame a day earlier.“I am giving them a period of time, and I would say that two weeks will be maximum,” Trump told reporters whether the strike decision could come soon.He said that the goal was to see whether “people come to their senses or not” and reduced the diplomatic push going on by European countries, saying, “Iran does not want to talk to Europe. They want to talk to us.”He said, “Europe will not be able to help him with this one,” he said, which includes Britain, France, Germany and European Union in Geneva.Trump, despite the warning of Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, asked Israel to stop his attacks, stating the idea of explaining that it would not restart the conversation with the US until the attacks end.Trump, who arrived at Morristown, New Jersey, told reporters, “It is very difficult to request.”He said, “If someone wins, it is a little harder to do compared to someone’s defeat, but we are ready, interested and enabled, and we are talking to Iran, and we will see what happens,” he said.Earlier, on Thursday, Trump stated that “he would” decide within the next two weeks to decide whether to start the strike, citing “adequate opportunity to negotiate” with Iran. However, his Friday’s comments suggest that the decision may come soon if Iran shows no movement on bringing back its nuclear ambitions.
