New Delhi: As the tension between Israel and Iran is increasing, the Israeli ambassador has said that their country is in “continuous contact” with the Ministry of External Affairs (Mea) regarding the safety and withdrawal of Indian citizens from Israel.In an interview with PTI video on Friday, Ambassador Azar said, “We are in constant contact with the MEA on all the subjects that have to be done with the evacuation of citizens. We have been collaborating since the onset of the war, and this cooperation continues.” He said, “Whatever message we get from the Government of India, we take it very seriously to ensure that all Indian citizens are safe.”These comments follow India’s decision to vacate its citizens from Israel on Thursday, when an Iranian missile hit a hospital in Barsheba region. Mea issued a statement stating that people wishing to leave Indian citizens will be provided assistance through land routes and then returned to India.The Indian embassy in Israel is issuing regular advice, urging citizens to take precautions. On Wednesday, India started ‘Operation Sindhu’ to vacate its citizens from Iran amidst deteriorating security situation in the region.Mea spokesperson Randhir Jiswal on Saturday confirmed that a total of 517 Indian citizens were brought back from Iran under Operation Sindhu. Ashgabat, a special flight from Turkmenistan, landed in New Delhi in early 21 June, which took place.The conflict, now on its ninth day, began on 13 June with Israel’s “Operation Rising Lion”, which is a large -scale aggressive aggressive targeting Iran’s atomic and military infrastructure. Iran responded with “Operation True Promise 3”, striking on Israel Energy Sites.Ambassador Azar first told reporters that Israel would continue to work to “degrade” the Iran’s missile and nuclear capabilities, although he expected a diplomatic resolution.Along with the remaining unstable, both Israel and Iran are expected to continue coordination with officials in both countries with India’s withdrawal efforts.
