1,100 Indians back from Iran, 800 and more withdrawal. Bharat News

New Delhi: While 827 Indian citizens returned from Iran by Saturday evening, approached the Indian Embassy in Tehran for 800 more withdrawal. In fact, the number of withdrawal was expected to exceed 1,100, which was more than 300 to come in a special flight around midnight.Sources in the government said that 600 more Indians are expected to come from Iran on Sunday in two separate flights. Indian embassies posted on X by the Indian Embassy in Iran said, “At the request of the government of Nepal and Sri Lanka, efforts to withdraw the Indian Embassy in Iran will also cover the citizens of Nepal and Sri Lanka.”Nepal’s Foreign Minister Arzu Rana Deuba thanked his counterpart S Jaishankar for India’s sharp assistance “to help the Nepali citizens from Iran to vacate.” India’s support in Nepal’s withdrawal efforts is a reflection of the strength of Nepal-India relations, “he said on X.Earlier in the day, a great air evacuation flight carrying 256 Indian students, a majority from Jammu and Kashmir, landed at Delhi Airport on Saturday. In a statement, J&K Students Association said, “Thank you for their efforts and timely coordination with Iranian officials. We are committed to ensure safe withdrawal of all the remaining students, especially weak and remote areas,” said.
