New Delhi: The Congress hit the BJP on Tuesday after criticizing Rabreli MP Rahul Gandhi’s foreign visit in BJP on Tuesday, and said that he is in London, participating in his niece’s graduate ceremony and will return soon.BJP’s IT chief Amit Malviya criticized Gandhi on X, questioning his “frequent disappearance” and unknown foreign visits. He demanded clarification from Gandhi as the Leader of the Opposition.Malavia said on X, “Rahul Gandhi was on a secret foreign holiday last week. Now, he has again swept away abroad at another unknown place.”He said, “Why are they constantly missing? Is it so compelling that he keeps him away from the country so many times? As the Leader of the Opposition, he responds to the people of India,” he said.While social media estimated Gandhi, who visited Bahrain, Congress sources confirmed that his journey was New Delhi-Baran-London.Congress spokesperson Pawan Khera defended Gandhi and said on X: “The PMO is as usual, even its dirty tricks. It knows nothing else. Rahul Gandhi has gone to London to attend his niece’s graduate ceremony and will return soon.”The occasion is related to Priyanka Gandhi Vadra and Robert Vadra’s daughter Miraya Vadra graduating in Britain.
