Punjab Police forced Uttarakhand youth to work in the intervention of BJP MP

New Delhi/Chandigarh: Punjab governor Gulab Chand Kataria has been saved from a young man from the north, after the intervention of BJP MP Anil Baluni, who said that the person was kept as a bonded laborer for more than 15 years.The youth were reportedly forced to work at a Gaufed in Dinwal village in Taran Taran district of Punjab, Baluni said on Wednesday.Uttarakhand MP and Chief Spokesperson of BJP arrived in Kataria after a viral video on social media, which showed the person to the person bowling the cattle under exploiting circumstances.

Baluni said, “Thanks to the quick intervention and fast action of Gulab Chand Kataria, the Governor of Punjab and Chandigarh Administrator Gulab Chand Kataria, a youth from Narayanabagad area of Chamoli district of Uttarakhand was rescued from bonded labor after 15 years.”Kataria directed Punjab DGP Gaurav Yadav to take quick action. A statement said that Yadav mobilized the Taran Taran district police, which located the victim within hours and saved him from the custody of the Gaufd owner.Efforts have been initiated to send back the youth rescued in their original village in Narayanbagad in Chamoli and a case was registered.Baluni said that such kind leadership from the Governor and DGP strengthened the trust of the people and hoped the weak. Later, Governor Kataria thanked the police team involved in the rescue and also for bringing an important role in bringing the matter to his knowledge and the person in defense of the person.
