The day its AX-4 mission placed India’s group captain Shubanshu Shukla into space, Houston-based AXIOM Space announced a partnership to jointly expand the access to the lower-earth with the Indian Space Startup Skyrot Aerospace. AXIOM signed a memorandum (MoU) with Skyrot, opening the door for deep cooperation between two private space firms. The agreement signed by AXIOM CEO Tejpal Bhatia and Skyrot CEO Pawan Kumar Chandana will detect integrated launch and in-orbit solutions. “This cooperation lies in our shared commitment to change the presence of humanity in space. Since my journey for the convenience of skyrot two years ago, I have assumed that our companies were lucky to work together. As Axiom creates the world’s first commercial space station, partners such as Skyro will play an important role in service to the Indian space ecosystem, but also the global markets, ”said Bhatia. Skyrot aerospace is ready to introduce its first orbital -class launch vehicle, Vikram -1. The company, which launched the Suborbital Vikram-S in 2022, has emerged as an important player in India’s fast growing private space sector and was the first to sign the partnership agreement with ISRO.“In Skyrot, our mission is to make space accessible, inexpensive and reliable. As we are near the first orbital launch of Vikram -1, this partnership with AXIOM Space allows us to detect integrated launch and in -arbit solutions, which will define the next era of space exploration and commercialization,” said the Chandana. Headquarters, Axiom Space, AXIOM station in Houston is constructing the station – is planning to become the world’s first commercial space station. The company’s latest crew mission, AX-4, has astronauts from India, Poland, Hungary and America. Partnership research pays potential areas of cooperation, including the launch of the research payload, orbital data center module, and the future mission to the Axiom station.
