New Delhi: The Supreme Court on Wednesday gave three months furls to Sukhdev Pehlwan, who was convicted in the Nitish Katara murder case, given that he had already spent 20 years in jail against the sentence of life imprisonment for 20 years for 20 years. As the legal issue is still pending before the SC, whether a prisoner, who has been sentenced to life imprisonment with a certain prison period, would still need the government exemption to come out of jail after completing the sentence, a bench of Justice Ujjal Bhuin and Kinod Chandran gave him interim relief to come out of jail.
