‘Including its data of EC’: Congress doubles the Maharashtra pole fraud charge; Looks for footage. Bharat News

New Delhi: The Congress party has replied to the Election Commission (EC) formally raising serious questions about the voting process with a detailed letter. This is the former party president and after the Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi called the Maharashtra assembly elections “vote theft”.This letter highlighted concerns: between May 2024 Lok Sabha elections and November 2024 assembly elections “Voters and voters’ increase”, and after 5 pm on election day, in voting “inexplicable ups and downs”.
“It is irrefutable to EC’s own data that more new electoral fingers were added between Maharashtra Lok Sabha elections held in May and between the assembly elections held in November, the same year, the 2019 assembly elections and the 2024 Lok Sabha elections were already in five years,” reads the letter.Calling for transparency, the Congress has demanded that the EC provide the “machine-readable, digital copy and video footage” of the polling day video footage of Maharashtra and Maharashtra and Haryana within a week from the date of this letter. It further said, “This is a long -standing request that should be easy for EC. The leadership of the Congress party will soon be happy with the EC.Earlier, in response to Rahul Gandhi’s opinion in a newspaper, the Election Commission had denied the allegations and again confirmed that all elections “are strictly and according to the rules passed by the laws passed by Parliament.”The pole body also underlined the scale of the electoral process, given that it includes thousands of personnel, including booth-level agents appointed by various political parties.According to the news agency PTI, EC wrote to Rahul Gandhi, “We believe that any issue about the conduct of elections would have been raised already through election petitions filed by Ink Candidates in the Court of Law (High Court).” “However, if you still have a problem, you welcome us to write and the Commission is ready to meet you personally on the convenient date and time to discuss all the issues,” said this.Despite the explanation of the pole body, Rahul Gandhi reiterated his charge, stating that irregularities were not only glitter, but a systematic effort on “vote theft”, and renewed their demand for immediate release of digital voter rolls and CCTV footage.

Many Congress colleagues have also repeatedly expressed concern over the conduct of Maharashtra elections.
