The ISIS module case suspected Saqib Nakan died on Saturday at a hospital in Delhi, a few days after suffering from a brain bleeding, PTI cited an officer. According to the official, he was undergoing treatment at a private hospital in the national capital for the last four days.An official said that the office of Islamic Movement (SIMI), an alumnus of India, was being held in Tihar Jail and was transferred to a hospital on 24 June after his health deteriorated.The doctors later confirmed that Nachan had faced brain bleeding, the official said. His condition deteriorated on Saturday, and died at 12.10 pm. The official said his body would be released to his family after the post -mortem, in which his funeral will be determined in Borivali village near Padgha on Sunday.In 1990, Nachan was convicted by the Supreme Court in 1997 for conspiring for terrorist attacks in collaboration with Khalistani groups. He was later sentenced to 10 years in jail for his role in a series of bomb blasts between 2002 and 2003, including attacks on Mumbai Central, Vile Parle and Mulund stations. After completing his sentence, Nachan was arrested in 2012 for attempting to kill a VHP worker, but was released on bail in 2014. In 2023, he was arrested by the NIA for allegedly administered the oath of swearing (Beyth) to recruit ISIS again.
