Mumbai: With the state government scrapping two controversial government proposals on the third language policy with the state government, the monsoon session of the Maharashtra Legislature cannot be obstructed.Addressing a press conference at Sahadehari State Guest House on Sunday, CM Devendra Fadnavis said 14 bills would be introduced during the monsoon session, including the Maharashtra Special Public Safety Bill, 2025, which has been approved by the Joint Selection Committee. It is likely to be passed during the session.Deputy CM Ajit Pawar said that the state cabinet has approved the supplementary demands and the bill will be introduced on the first day. He said that Rs 3,600 crore was approved by the State Cabinet to pay the next installment of the Ladki sister scheme.Opposition Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) boycotted the traditional tea party. Pawar said that it has been boycotted for so many years. “We can do our tea, catch the cabinet and address the press conference.
