New Delhi: Trinumool Congress MP Mahua Motra criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s five-nation’s foreign tour, questioning its diplomatic value and under his leadership, concerns about India’s international standing increased.In a video shared by PTI, Motra said, “The Hon’ble Prime Minister has again left another long foreign tour. Globe-trotting some questions for the Prime Minister for the Prime Minister.”Questioning PM Modi’s effectiveness of diplomacy, he said, “Mr. Prime Minister, you have probably been a Prime Minister who has traveled the most on taxpayers’ money, who is clearly cementing India in the global world system and ensure that we are in a major condition.”Referring to the recent international developments, Moitra said, “How is it that after all your diplomatic outreach and all the efforts of India that the leaders of independent world are openly known as a terrorist hub, love to love, who is having food with the head of India and has also been hyphalted today.”He further asked why India’s foreign policy has failed to separate Pakistan globally. “It has been unable to separate Pakistan after all your efforts after all your efforts after all your efforts, after all diplomatic efforts?”Moitra also targeted the PM at US President Donald Trump’s repeated claims of the ceasefire brokerage between India and Pakistan. “This operation vermilion which was done with great pomp in which 140 crore Indians including all opposition parties gave you 100%support, came into a ceasefire with the President of the United States, declare that it was a success – what was the operation of success – what was a failure?He further pointed out the ongoing international financial assistance for Pakistan. “Multilateral organizations like World Bank, like IMF, are excluding Pakistan with billions of dollars. What they have to do for India on their face, we have either been unable to explain them completely or Pakistan has just done a better job.”Prime Minister Modi left for five-nation tour of Ghana, Trinidad and Tobago, Argentina, Brazil and Namibia on 2 July.
