Shaun Didi denied bail; Claimed for allegations of prostitution; Sex trafficking, acquitted from racketering

Shaun “Didi” Combes was denied bail on Wednesday when a jury convicted him for federal prostitution allegations, although he was acquitted of more serious allegations related to sexual trafficking and racketiating.Judge Arun Subramanian ruled that Combes would be in custody while waiting for sentence in two cases of transport to engage in prostitution. Each calculation has a possible punishment of up to 10 years of jail.Defense lawyer Mark Agnifilo urged the judge to urge the release of Comombs before the sentence, “he is not going to run away. He has been given his life back.” But Judge Subramanian refused to rethink the severity of the evidence presented during the test.“For current purposes, the defendant is unable to fulfill his burden” said the judge to prove with clear and confident evidence that he does not pose a threat to any person or community. He also stated that “in the test, Raksha acknowledged the violence of the defendant in his personal relationships,” saying that evidence revealed that there was a one -year pattern of violence in Comombs. “Prosecutor Maurin Comi argued against bail, “The only thing that is extraordinary about Combes is his property, his violence and his brazenness” and “his constant criminality and his desire to violate the law.”Agifilo pushed back with a pointed comment: “I am appreciated by listening to Ms. Komi that we have zeries.”The 55 -year -old Comombs was convicted of two prostitution related crimes, who serve a maximum punishment of 10 years. However, the jury acquitted him of sex trafficking and raccizing allegations, which could lead to life imprisonment. He has been in custody since his arrest in September.
