Sanjay Bhandari declared a fugitive economic criminal: Delhi Court Tag Arms dealer Robert Vadra case; Extradition path rest | Bharat News

New Delhi: On Saturday, a special court of Delhi declared Arms dealer Sanjay Bhandari as a fugitive under the Fugitive Economic Criminals Act after an application by the Enforcement Directorate.The Special Court issued an order under the Fugitive Economic Criminals Act 2018.This decision will probably strengthen India’s position in advancing its extradition from the United Kingdom, where it currently lives. Bhandari fled to London in 2016 in 2016 when several investigative agencies started investigating their activities.Development is potentially an important challenge for Robert Vadra, which faces investigations about his alleged connection with a weapon dealer. Less than a month ago, Vadra was issued a fresh summons in relation to the money laundering case, alleging his relationship with Bhandari. In the case around the Enforcement Directorate (ED), in its 2023-Field charge sheet, alleging that a property was purchased and renovated in London in 2009, using the allegedly provided funds by Wadra in 2009.
