‘This is sick’: Jewish Advocacy Group slam Hanukka to share the video to Zohran Mamdani

Stop the Jewish -advocating group, the Jewish Advocate Group, blasted Zoharan Mamdani, the nominee of the Democratic New York City, to make fun of a video. The video was shared last year, but it went viral as Mamdani is making headlines after her amazing victory in Primary. Some false claims were made on the video, stating that Mamdani, who was a wrappers before his dip in politics, was painted in the video. But he was not in the video and shared it on Hanukka. Mammadani posted the video in December 2024, stating the caption, “Happy third night of Hanukka from Estoria and Long Island City.”The video originates from the 2015 parody album “Punjabi Christmas Album Hits”, from the Sikh-Canadian musician and a side project of the comedian juice, The Geeta Brothers.Mamdani posted another video from the same album on the eve of Christmas, it is based on “Jingle Bells”.“Wish you all a very Christmas wishes from Estoria and Long Island City,” he wrote at that time.Stop Antisemitism wrote in a statement on X, “Zoharan Mamdani illuminated the Jews spinning, spinning and menorah to Indian men.”Mamdani has been accused of antisemiamitism during his campaign and also refused to recognize Israel’s authority as a Jewish state. During a primary debate, he said that he believes that Israel has the right to existence. “As a Jewish state?” he was asked. “As a state with equal rights,” said Mammadani.“I am not comfortable supporting any state, with a hierarchy of citizenship on the basis of religion or something else,” he later explained.Stopantisemitism founder Liora Rez said last week that the election of Mamdani Mayor would not only be “frightening” for Jewish residents, but all who live in the city.“If Zoharan Mammadani was chosen as the mayor, it would be frightening for the Jewish residents of New York City,” Raz said. “And we will take it a step further, where the citizens of the city of New York will normally suffer due to their very disturbing stance on socialism, as well as a lot.”
