‘Free Balochistan’: Who is Tommy Robinson? Controversial far-flung activists who received support from Elon Musk
British far-fetched activist Tommy Robinson, whose real name is Stephen Yaxley-Lenn, has attracted new attention after posting on X “Free Balochistan”. The post shared with more than one million followers on X (East Twitter) is the latest in a range of controversial views, legal troubles and controversial statements known for vocal presence on social media.Tension is increasing in Balochistan following a violent rift by officials on a peaceful rally at the hub outpost. Protests organized by Baloch Yakjehti Committee (BYC), a BYC member of Panjgur, was held to condemn the extraordinary murder of Zeshan Zaheer, allegedly targeted by a state -backed Death Squad. BYC reports that a large number of women, children and forcibly disappeared families attended the rally. Despite the peaceful nature of protest, security forces responded with air firing, tear gas shells and large -scale arrests after the protest ended. Four of those detained were women – Sadia, Samina, Asala, and Mehtab – and human rights activists Abdullah Baloch. More than 20 hours later, their hideouts remain unknown, in which no legal proceedings have started.
Who is Tommy Robinson?
Robinson grew prominently as the founder of the English Defense League (EDL) in the UK, a distance to violent protests between 2009 and 2013, notorious, the anti-Islam group notorious.Over the years, he has been jailed for Assault (2005), Horticulture Fraud (2014), and court offenses for the previous contempt (2019) of court crimes, a groom gang later and was potentially endangered to film defendants during a gang testing.
